JVP Civil is an independent consultancy founded by Josh von Pein. Chartered Professional Civil Engineer with 20+ years of experience across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and the Pacific. We support government and infrastructure clients with trusted advice in contract management, procurement, and programme delivery.

Background

Josh von Pein holds a Master’s in Civil Engineering (Hons1), and is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng, IntPE, CMEngNZ). He has worked across a wide range of public and private sector infrastructure projects—including large-scale capital delivery, asset management, and complex procurement programmes.

He enjoys working across diverse environments, delivering outcomes that are technically sound, community-focused, and contractually robust. Josh is an SCCP Panel Member and is active in national-level technical committees.
